Wholesale supply by EXB (UK) Ltd

EXB (UK) Limited are pleased to announce that with effect from August 1st 2010 a wholesale distribution agreement has been agreed with Juratek for the UK market.

The entire range of Brake Discs, Brake Pads, Fitting Kits and Wear leads will be available from any of the EXB depots located at Bristol (Head Office), Manchester and Birmingham.

Brake Pad Test Results

To Illustrate the characteristics of both OEC1/1 & OEC2 products, Juratek have conducted tests to compare their products with some of the premier OE grades fitted by such as BPW, DAF and Mercedes and currently on offer from Federal Mogul, TMD & Honeywell; specifically Fedoro 4550, Textar 3030, Textar 7400 & Jurid 539.

The range of values obtained from these OE product tests are illustrated collectively as the "OE Product Envelope"

Performance

The stopping power of all grades was compared at 40, 60, 80, 100 & 120 kph to check both the absolute level of stopping power at these speeds and the variation that occurs with increased speed.

As can be seen from our chart OEC1/1 and OEC2 fits within the envelope of performance provided by the principal OE products at all speeds. OEC2 fits in the middle of the OE performance envelope with exceptional stability over the speed range.

Fade

The fade test selected for our comparison is the ECE R13 test used to Type approve new OE vehicle braking systems.

The fade behaviour of OEC1/1 & OEC2 are similar to each other on this test test with only relatively small changes in brake pressure being reuired to maintain the required decelaration throughout the 20 stop tests; again both Juratek products fit within the overall envelope of fade performance displayed by the range of principal OE products tested.

Pad Wear

OEC1/1 demonstrates a good pad life over a range of temperatures only failing outside the OE envelope at the lowest and very highest of temperatures. Suitable for all truck, trailer and PSV applications.

Pad life with OEC2 is exceptional matching, and at some temperatures bettering, the best of the OE grades at more temperatures. Suitable for all applications including very demanding applications (inc DAF).

Disk Wear

Both OEC1/1 & OEC2 provide for very good brake disk life - well within the OE envelope.
