Warranty Returns
All items are warranted to accord on delivery with the specification agreed with the manufacturer of the part sold by EXB (UK) Limited, these parts will be supplied free from defects in material and workmanship developing out of normal use for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery, some manufacturers extend the warranty period to 24 or even 36 months from the date of delivery, clarification of parts which are in this category is possible upon written request.
New Returns
EXB UK LTD supply goods in good condition, with regards to the packaging that it is contained in and the condition of the part itself. All goods supplied are of either original manufacture brand new or some remanufactured items which is stated before purchase.
Brand new condition definition
- The packaging is undamaged and presentable / clean
- The part is clean and free from any marks due to handling
- The item has not been fitted or modified
- Does not contain any contaminant material or liquids
Return Process
Goods can be returned to EXB within 30 days of the invoice (Possibly longer depending on the situation) All goods must be returned with a EXB returns form or with a customers return form stating the invoice number the goods were supplied on and the reason for return.
Any returns older than 30 days you must contact EXB sales team via phone or email to confirm the goods can be returned before proceeding.
Items that are rejected once returned would be held while we contact the customer to advise and then goods would be returned with there next shipment or at the customers cost.
Some items will incur a handling charge if the item is needed to be returned to our supplier, this charge can vary from 10%-20% depending on the severity of the return and which supplier the goods will be returned to.
Parts returned within 30 days of order subject to the following conditions/exceptions:
a. Special order items (VOR) that are non-stock items ordered in for the customer are NON-RETURNABLE (Unless the item will be taken back by our suppler with handling)
Where a part has been returned and free carriage was applied to the order. The value of the carriage will in all cases be deducted from the refund value.
Customers are responsible for all carriages incurred in the returns process unless agreed in writing (email) by EXB.
Surcharge Returns
Some items supplied by EXB may come with an additional surcharge cost when purchased, this is a charge billed to us from our supplier which we must pass on to the customer.
To receive a credit for this extra charge you must return the unit it is replacing to EXB at your own cost. We also have the option to arrange collection for you however the cost of this will be deducted from the credit.
Once returned EXB will credit you the billed surcharge amount. All units surcharged must be returned to EXB within 9 months of the original purchase date. Anything after this please contact us to see if still available for return.
